Hello! My name is Sarah Prestmo, and i am from Vanderhoof BC. This is my first year at Thompson Rivers University , where I’m taking Tourism and Hospitality management.

I graduated from Nechako Valley secondary School and attended Prince George Secondary Hockey School. I grew up playing hockey, soccer, and golf, and met lots of my best friends from sports. Some of my favorite things to do are at the lake, with paddle boarding and wake surfing. Another thing about me is i love the Vancouver Canucks and getting to watch games, i have had season tickets for a few years now! Go Canucks Go!

I decided to take Tourism Management because i love to travel and see new places. With that i love how tourism is a broad course, but with whatever path i choose i get to create an experience and be creative. Another thing i enjoy about tourism is how it has so many different parts of business all in one! My professional goal is to hopefully work with resorts in a hospitality position or have an event planning role, ideally in the fashion industry.
